Pv power generation in October 2018 increased 18.8 percent year on year
In January, industrial raw coal production accelerated, crude oil production increased, natural gas and electric power production remained stable, and energy production overall remained stable.
In October, electricity generation reached 533 billion kilowatt hours, up 4.8 percent year on year and 0.2 percentage points faster than the previous month. Average daily power generation is 17.19 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to October, 5,581.6 billion KWH of electricity was generated, up 7.2% from the same period last year.
Production of thermal power and wind power has slowed. In October, thermal power and wind power grew by 3.0 percent and 4.2 percent year on year, 0.7 and 9.3 percentage points lower than the previous month respectively.
The growth of hydropower, nuclear power and photovoltaic power was accelerated. The amount of water brought into water for hydropower in Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou increased by 6.2 percent year on year, 2.1 percentage points faster than the previous month.
