The prospect of Nuclear power development in China is closely watched

The annual general conference of the international atomic energy agency (iaea) was held in Vienna on 17 September solstice 21. During the visit, the China Atomic Energy Authority organized exhibitions, technical side meetings and several rounds of bilateral talks on China's nuclear industry. Advanced technologies such as Hualong 1, CAP1400, high-temperature gas-cooled reactor and Yanlong low-temperature heating reactor were exhibited to promote the development achievements of China's nuclear industry and further promote the cooperation between China and the global nuclear industry.
Zhang Kejian, head of the China Atomic Energy Authority, said nuclear power will have more room for development as a green, clean and low-carbon energy source. Wang Qun, China's permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna and other international organizations, said at the technical side meeting that the peaceful use of nuclear energy is the common cause of all mankind, which calls for enhanced cooperation and common development. China has been opening wider to the outside world in the nuclear field and actively participated in iaea affairs. China is ready to share its successful experience and achievements in development with other countries and work together to promote the healthy and sustainable development of nuclear energy.
Acting DIRECTOR General Of the INTERNATIONAL Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Gordon Hayward paid a special visit to the Exhibition stand in China and was briefed by China National Nuclear Corporation on the latest nuclear reactor technologies, nuclear power development and nuclear fuel guarantee, including Hualong 1, high-temperature gas-cooled reactor and Yanlong Low-temperature heating reactor. At present, Hualong 1 is the only third-generation pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power project in the world in accordance with the schedule, and important progress has been made in the "going global" of high-temperature gas-cooled reactors.
Hayward said China's great achievements in the nuclear industry are admirable and he is willing to continue to push for all-round and in-depth cooperation between the IAEA and China in the nuclear field. At the same time, China is expected to take advantage
