A, definitions,

Incremental distribution networks in principle refer to 110kV and below voltage class networks and 220(330)kV and below voltage class networks such as industrial parks (economic development zones). Capacity increase or expansion of distribution networks including new distribution networks, investment in the form of mixed ownership, or investment in the construction and operation of existing distribution networks by enterprises other than the existing assets of power grid enterprises.

Microgrid refers to a micro power generation and supply system composed of various distributed generation, distribution, load, monitoring and protection devices. It has flexible operation mode and schedulable performance, and can switch between the connected mode and the off-grid mode.

Second, the difference between incremental distribution network and microgrid

Table 1 Differences between incremental distribution networks and microgrids

Project Incremental distribution network Microgrid
Capacity Meet the power distribution needs and planning requirements, unlimited Not more than 20MW, usually megawatts or less
voltage classes Power grid of 110KV and below and local power grid of 220 (330) KV and below in industrial parks (economic development zones) Generally 35KV and below
Whether the power At present, it is generally accepted that the incremental distribution network is also a public power network, which can be connected to the distributed power supply of users or incorporated into the incremental distribution network Domestic power supply, mainly renewable energy, grid-connected micro-grid renewable energy installed capacity and the maximum load ratio of more than 50%
Self-Balancing unable Can achieve self-balance
Whether isolated network operation unable Lsolated network operation

 Planning characteristics of incremental distribution networks and microgrids

1. Incremental distribution network planning features

1) Intelligent planning

It should vary according to the purpose of the report.

2) Grid structure

The power supply of different distribution companies shall not be introduced to the same user or station;

Consider the impact of distribution prices;

Reflect the characteristics of differentiated power supply service.

3) Power balance

Maximum allowable load rate analysis of main transformer construction capacity;

Pay attention to electric quantity balance analysis.

4) Load forecasting

Vision, load density index method;

Recently, the natural growth of consumer packaging method.

5) Investment efficiency

Power supply service + distribution service fee measure internal rate of return.

2. Microgrid planning characteristics

1) Power supply for important loads

Provide reliable power supply service to important users;

Independent operation can guarantee the continuous power supply of important loads (not less than 2 hours).

2) Self-balancing

The annual electricity exchange between the micro-grid and the external grid shall not exceed 50% of the annual electricity consumption;

Avoid developing projects with high power ratio to generate electricity to the grid;

3) Isolated network operation

An autonomous system capable of self-control, protection and management;

It can be operated with external power grid or in isolation.
