National Center for Renewable Energy
According to the National Renewable Energy Center, 6.30 has become the wind vane for the development of the photovoltaic industry since 6.30 in 2016 created a new installed capacity of 22 million kw in half a year. According to the national Renewable Energy Center's information analysis of major enterprises and industry information institutions, it is estimated that from January to June 2017, China's new installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation will reach 24 million kilowatts, including 13 million kilowatts of new installed capacity in June and 101 million kilowatts of cumulative photovoltaic power generation capacity.
The prominent feature of the installed pv power generation in 2017 is the acceleration of distributed PV and the slowing down of pv power stations. From January to June, about 17 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power stations and 7 million kilowatts of distributed photovoltaic power stations were installed, nearly three times the new scale of the same period in 2016. From the perspective of the distribution of new installed capacity, central and eastern China have become the hot spots of photovoltaic power generation in China, among which east and central China account for more than 50% of the country.
In the second half of 2017, distributed photovoltaic power generation is expected to maintain rapid development, with new installed capacity expected to exceed 7 million kilowatts. With the addition of the new grid connection leader base and photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects, the annual new installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation is expected to exceed 4,000 kilowatts.
