Internet Plus is the only way to develop renewable resources

Jiang Sanjiang, President of the China Renewable Resources Association, said at a forum on Innovation and Development of the Renewable resources industry in the "Internet +" era on Tuesday that the new model of "Internet + renewable resources" will be the industry's development trend and the only way forward.
According to the statistics of China Renewable Resources Association, the overall scale of the industry grew slightly in 2014, with the domestic recycling amount of 178 million tons for nine types of scrap steel, nonferrous metal, waste plastics, waste paper, waste home appliances, scrapped automobiles, waste rubber, waste textiles and waste glass, an increase of 5.96% over 2013.
Jiang said that this has a lot to do with many enterprises groping and forging ahead in the low tide and constantly innovating by relying on "Internet +". Some enterprises have built online recycling platforms and tried new recycling modes. There have been Internet recycling platforms such as "Lvbao", "easy recycling", "Fast harvest network" and "Wintronics recycling". Some enterprises are also exploring new e-commerce models. For example, zhongyuan Renewable Resources International Trading Center is listed in Dazhou to build a spot electronic trading center in Zhongyuan.
The entrepreneurs at the meeting predicted that the traditional distributive trading model of the renewable resources industry had lost its vitality. Nor is it sustainable to rely on subsidies and the "enclosure movement" to drive expansion, and the industry desperately needs to expand into new areas.
Jiang said that using the new model of "Internet +" to form "Internet + renewable resources" is conducive to transforming the traditional industry, creating a new recycling trading platform, integrating online and offline resources, developing a new e-commerce model, and building a new financing platform to form a new business model. This is the trend and the only way forward. The next decade will be a decade of innovation, a golden decade and a decade of great development for the renewable resources industry. Industrial enterprises should seize the opportunity and not miss the opportunity.
