Among the 31 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), 15 have introduced local policies on promoting new energy vehicles and 10 have introduced policies on charging infrastructure.
On September 30 this year, the State Council issued the Guidance of the General Office of the State Council on Accelerating the Construction of Electric Vehicle charging Infrastructure, proposing that by 2020, an intelligent and efficient charging infrastructure system with moderately advanced charging facilities and accompanied by vehicle piles will be basically completed, meeting the charging needs of more than 5 million electric vehicles.
