Recently, the National Energy Administration released statistics on the development of photovoltaic power generation and wind power in the first quarter of the country.
1. The installed capacity of new photovoltaic power generation maintained a high growth rate in the first quarter
By the end of March 2015, the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation in China had reached 33.12 million kw, including 27.79 million kW of photovoltaic power station and 5.33 million kw of distributed photovoltaic.
In the first quarter of 2015, China added 5.04 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation capacity, among which 4.38 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power station capacity and 660,000 kilowatts of distributed photovoltaic power capacity. In the first quarter, xinjiang (including the XPCC) added 1.1 million kW, Inner Mongolia 820,000 KW, Zhejiang 700,000 KW, Gansu 590,000 KW, and Jiangsu 430,000 KW.
Pv output in the first quarter was about 8 billion KWH.
2. The newly added wind power grid capacity in China has completed the target of the 12th Five-Year Plan ahead of schedule, but the wind abandon rate has picked up
In the first quarter of this year, China added 4.7 million kilowatts of grid-connected wind power. By the end of March, the cumulative grid-connected wind power capacity was 101.07 million kilowatts, with a year-on-year growth of 25%. In the first quarter, 45.6 billion kilowatt-hours of wind power came online, up 18.6% year on year. The average utilization hours were 477 hours, 2 hours lower than that of the previous year. Wind curbage was 10.7 billion KWH, up 5.8 billion KWH year-on-year; The average curtail rate was 18.6 percent, up 6.6 percentage points year on year. In the first quarter, the provinces that added more capacity were Ningxia (590,000 kW), Gansu (450,000 kW), Xinjiang (400,000 kW), Shanxi (370,000 kW), Shandong (360,000 kw) and Mengdong (340,000 kW). The provinces with the highest average utilization hours of wind power were Yunnan (968 hours), Sichuan (819 hours) and Fujian (732 hours), while the provinces with the lowest average utilization hours were Jilin (269 hours), Liaoning (349 hours), Guizhou (350 hours) and Gansu (356 hours).
