In 2014, China's clean energy industry earned 7.6 billion yuan
Investment in China's clean energy and technology sector was active in 2014, according to a report released yesterday by pricewaterhousecoopers. The total amount of VC/PE investment disclosed in the year reached $1.24 billion (7.68 billion yuan), the amount of mergers and acquisitions disclosed $6.795 billion, the number of successful listed companies reached 12, raising $4.148 billion.
The report shows that after the overall take-off in 2013, the environmental protection industry was relatively stable in 2014 due to the lack of follow-up major policies.
But the report also predicts a bright future for the clean energy and technology industry as a whole in 2015. With the introduction of various environmental protection laws in 2015, the environmental protection sector is expected to usher in another peak of development. Among them, the national Energy Work Conference clearly put forward the strategy of "vigorously developing wind power", and wind power will become a bright spot in the new energy sector.
